Teacher’s Pet Support

Your personal school at home. Teacher’s Pet provides K–12 lessons, practice, assessments and learning records for families on macOS.

Get help

Email koinophobia999@gmail.com with the app version, macOS version and a short description of what happened. Please leave out private passphrases, payment details and identifying learner work.

Start or resume learning

Choose a content level, open Subjects and select a course. The app saves your place and responses on this Mac. Use Continue learning to return. Written explanations and demonstrations wait for an adult to review them; waiting is not a failing result.

Purchases and Family Sharing

Open School → Family Subscription to see your plan or Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that purchased the subscription, or an eligible Apple Family Sharing account. Manage or cancel subscriptions with Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple. Family Sharing unlocks subscription access; learner profiles and saved work stay on each Mac.

Offline and saved work

Bundled lessons and local saves do not require a connection. Previously verified subscription access is read from StoreKit’s signed local records. A new purchase or restoration may require a connection. A failure to load plan prices does not erase school work. After a subscription expires, View Saved School Work lets an adult read saved records.

Adult access

Create and keep your adult passphrase privately. There is no learner-accessible reset that removes adult protection. Never email your passphrase to support.

Your data

Teacher’s Pet has no accounts. Learner profiles and saved work are stored on this Mac and are not sent to us, so there is no online account to delete. Apple billing is separate: manage or cancel your subscription with Apple.

Reopen the window

Closing the last main window quits Teacher’s Pet. Reopen it from Applications, the Dock or Spotlight to return to your saved work.

Homeschooling requirements vary by jurisdiction. Parents and guardians are responsible for complying with applicable education requirements. Teacher’s Pet does not confer accreditation, school credit or a diploma.
